It gives me immense pleasure to welcome you to the official website of JITS College of Pharmacy, Palakol, Andhra Pradesh. The pharmaceutical industry is undergoing rapid transformation, and the role of the pharmacist has evolved significantly. From being a production and quality control chemist, the pharmacist today is a vital healthcare professional. They are not only involved in the safe and effective manufacture of pharmaceuticals but are also key players in the development, discovery, clinical research, and community health initiatives. The increasing competition and technological advancements have further transformed the pharmacy field, making it a crucial sector for the national economy.
JITS College of Pharmacy was established in 2007 and is affiliated with JNTU Kakinada. The college is approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), a statutory body under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, New Delhi, under Section 12 of the Pharmacy Act, 1948, for the purpose of registration as a pharmacist. Our college offers a 4-year full-time degree course in Pharmacy (B. Pharmacy), supported by modern infrastructure, skilled and dedicated teaching and non-teaching staff, and a beautiful campus that creates an ideal environment for academic growth.
Since its inception, JITS College of Pharmacy has been equipped with the latest resources to ensure that students receive the best education. In addition to the standard curriculum set by JNTU Kakinada, we also offer supplementary academic programs, including guest lectures, industry visits, training programs, and workshops. These activities help our students stay updated with the latest technological advancements and give them insights into the diverse career opportunities available in the pharmaceutical industry.
